Los Angeles Guitar Quartet
The CGSC has always encouraged cooperation with the many other fine music presenting groups in Calgary. Such ventures serve to enrich our city's flourishing musical community. This year the CGSC and the Calgary Pro Musica Society have teamed up to present the grammy award winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet.
Recognized as one of America’s premier instrumental ensembles, the LAGQ is one of the most charismatic and versatile groups performing today. These four dynamic virtuosi bring a new energy to the concert stage with their eclectic programs and dynamic musical interplay. For this concert, LAGQ will be joined by actor Phil Proctor to present a staging of "The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote - Words and Music from the Time of Cervantes."
