In late 2018, a piece in The Globe & Mail received national attention for its fascinating story about the struggles of a group of Syrian musicians seeking asylum in North America. The Orontes Guitar Quartet have now found a home at the University of Victoria and, in lieu of our annual Showcase Concert, the CGSC is proud to bring these fine performers to Calgary for a special event.
